I participated from the first day of NLR Teen Court until I graduated and it has taught me that I want to be a leader in this community. Teen Court Invites New Participants
Goals Hold juvenile offenders responsible for their behavior and help them recognize that the consequences are a direct result of their own actions. A teen must accept complete responsibility for their offense s to be heard in Teen Court. Teen must not commit any other offense during their association with Teen Court Rules of Conduct Anyone arriving under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted and will be turned over to the police. Teen attorneys facilitate court and also prosecute and defend the misdemeanor cases. If I could start any club at my college campus it would be a Teen Court. No gum chewing, smoking, tobacco chewing, eating, or drinking in courtroom. You cannot discuss Teen Court cases outside of Teen Court.
